How to make an Android app without coding
You run a shop, clinic, coaching centre or salon and want your own app. You don’t need to learn to code any more. This guide shows how to start, what to write, what it costs and what to watch out for.

Hinglish mein padhein: Bina coding ke Android app kaise banayein
First, decide what the app is for
Write one sentence: what the app does and who uses it. For example:
- “Customers of my salon pick a service and a time, and the booking reaches my WhatsApp.”
- “A credit ledger for my shop: what each customer owes, with a reminder on WhatsApp.”
- “Students, batches, attendance and fees for my coaching classes.”
Start with three or four screens that matter. You can add the rest later.
Three ways to get an app
- Hire a developer or agency: fully custom, but the most expensive and slowest, and you depend on them for every small change. See what an app costs in India (Hinglish).
- Drag-and-drop app builders: no code, but you still connect screens, data and logic yourself, which takes time to learn.
- Describe it in a chat (an AI app builder such as AppCub): you write what the app should do in your own words, the AI shows a plan, you check it, and the app is built. Changes are made by asking.
How it works in AppCub
- Describe it. Write in English, Hindi or Hinglish. Attach a picture of a design you like, if you have one.
- Check the plan. AppCub shows the screens and features it will build. Seeing and changing the plan is free.
- Build it. When the plan looks right, AppCub writes the code and builds the app. Building starts with a 2-day trial for ₹99 (150 credits, enough for one app and a few changes).
- Try it on your phone. The app runs live next to the chat. Scan a QR code to install it.
- Change it. Say what to change, or click the part of the app you want changed. You can go back to any earlier version.
How to describe your app so it comes out right
- Say your business name, city and who will use the app: only you, your staff or your customers.
- Give real details: services and prices, batch names, opening hours, your WhatsApp number.
- Say where the data should live: only on your phone, or on your customers’ and staff’s phones too. The second needs an online database (Supabase), which you connect from the chat.
- Describe the look: “red and black”, “large buttons”, “labels in Hindi”.
Every business page has a prompt ready to paste: kirana shop, udhaar khata, salon, clinic, coaching, school, gym, tiffin, restaurant, real estate, housing society and wedding or event.
What it costs
- Seeing the plan for your app: free. The six ready-made apps run free.
- Building it: a 2-day trial for ₹99 (US$1 outside India), then the plan you chose: Starter ₹1,599 a month for 700 credits. A new app usually takes 60 to 110 credits.
- Work that fails or is rolled back costs no credits.
- Google Play: a one-time US$25 fee to Google, and a paid AppCub plan for the Play Store bundle and signing key.
Getting the app to people
- Web link: put the app online and share the link on WhatsApp. Nothing to install.
- APK file: installs straight onto an Android phone; fine for people you know.
- Google Play: the most trusted way. Read how to publish an app on Google Play, or let our team do it.
Things to keep in mind
- AppCub builds Android apps. For the iPhone App Store, our team can help.
- Collect only the customer data you need (phone, address, health details), and keep it safe.
- Start small, give it to customers, then grow it based on what they say.
- Very large apps (a marketplace with many sellers, a delivery app with live tracking) are still a job for an experienced developer.

Yes. In AppCub you describe what the app should do and the AI writes the code and builds the app. You never have to read or write code.
Is AppCub free?
Seeing the plan for your app and running the ready-made apps is free. Building your own app needs the 2-day trial for ₹99 or a paid plan.
How long does it take?
Usually a few minutes after you approve the plan. The ready-made apps run in about a minute.
Can the app be in Hindi?
Yes. Write to AppCub in Hindi or Hinglish, and ask for the app’s buttons and labels in Hindi.
Do I own the app and its data?
Yes. The app is published under your name, and its online data sits in your own Supabase project.
