Make an app for your school

Notices, homework by class, attendance and fees in one Android app with your school’s name on it, and a login so parents see their own child. Describe it in a chat and AppCub builds it. No coding needed.

AppCub opens on 18 October 2026. Join the waitlist and we’ll message you on WhatsApp that day.

Describe your app and see the plan for free. Build it with a 2-day trial for ₹99.

What your app can do

School apps usually start with these. Ask for what your school needs:

Notices

Holidays, PTMs and events for the whole school or one class, newest first.

Homework

Teachers add homework by class and date. Parents see what is due tomorrow.

Attendance

Mark a class present in a few taps. Parents see their child’s attendance for the month.

Fees and dues

Each student’s fee, what is paid and what is pending, with a WhatsApp reminder.

Parent login

Each parent signs in and sees only their own child’s homework, attendance and fees.

More when you need it

Timetable, exam marks, a photo gallery, the bus route, an admission enquiry form. Ask in the chat.

What to write

Copy this, change the details to match your school, and paste it into AppCub:

Make an app for my school, Little Stars Public School in Patna, nursery to class 8. Teachers post notices for the whole school or one class, add homework by class and date, and mark attendance. Keep each student’s monthly fee and show paid and pending fees, with a button to remind the parent on WhatsApp. Parents sign in with their phone number and see only their own child’s notices, homework, attendance and fees. Blue and yellow colours, simple and large text.

What it costs

  • A school app like the one above usually takes 60 to 110 credits to build. Describing it and seeing AppCub’s plan is free; building it starts with a 2-day trial for ₹99 (150 credits, enough for the app and a few changes).
  • To publish on Google Play you need a paid plan, which includes the Play Store bundle and your app’s signing key. Starter is ₹1,599 a month for 700 credits.
  • Work that fails or is rolled back costs nothing, and every change comes with one free fix.

Good to know

  • Parents see the data on their own phones only when the app has an online database, so connect a Supabase database (it has a free plan) from the chat. AppCub sets up sign-in so each parent sees only their own child.
  • Your school is responsible for protecting students’ and parents’ details under India’s data protection law. Collect only what you need.
  • AppCub builds Android apps and can put your app online as a web link that opens on any phone. For the iPhone App Store, our team can do it for you.

Questions

Is this different from the coaching app?

The ready-made coaching app is for a tutor or institute on their own phone: batches, attendance and fees. A school app usually has teachers and parents on their own phones, so it needs sign-in and an online database.

Can teachers use it on their own phones?

Yes, once a Supabase database is connected. Ask for a teacher login that can post notices and homework for their classes.

Can parents pay fees in the app?

You can ask for a payment button that uses your school’s own Razorpay account. Connect Razorpay and Supabase from the Connectors page first.

Can the app send notifications?

Ask for it in the chat. The simplest reminder is a WhatsApp message with the details filled in; tell AppCub what you need and it says what it can do.

Can I write to AppCub in Hindi or Hinglish?

Yes. Write the way you normally do, in English, Hindi or Hinglish. You can also ask for the app’s own buttons and labels in Hindi.

What if I want to change something later?

Open the app in AppCub and say what should change, or click the part of the app you want changed. You can always go back to an earlier version.
